Design is not about what you can do, its what you should do…
My name is Ayan Bhandari. I use systems level thinking to synthesize complex, multi-layered problems in the medical industry, to create usability driven solutions. This process requires a dynamic design skillset, collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams, and the ability to advise and guide a client through the med. dev. process.
Since graduating from Virginia Tech, I have honed my skills at various start-ups and corporations, culminating at Ximedica. I mentor and advise at various colleges, and was the Co-Founder and CEO of nuway, developing safety equipment for passengers, on motorcycle taxis, in Uganda.
To learn more about me, please watch the videos below that catalog different parts of my journey.

Using Design to Help others
As the CEO of a Women’s Health motivated start-up, I was asked to present my companies goals and impact at the Inaugural event for the New England Medical Innovation Center.
We all need a side hustle, why not make it one that can make the biggest impact that we can.
